Although we have offered the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) alongside A-levels since 2001, and are currently a Middle Years Programme (MYP) candidate school, which will lead to GCSEs, we do not offer the Career-related Programme (CP).

I have started this Topic because Emma mentioned that they are going to offer the Reflective Project (RP) as part of the CP next year, so at least one school is beginning to think about this.

“The reflective project is an in-depth body of work produced over an extended period of time and submitted towards the end of the CP. Through a reflective project students identify, analyse, critically discuss and evaluate an ethical issue arising from their career-related studies. The reflective project is intended to promote high-level research, writing and extended communication skills, intellectual discovery and creativity.”

It would be interesting and helpful to know more.
