Thanks to the ‘subscribe funtion+’ I am finally back in touch with the forum.

As ever, I couldn’t agree more. I think if we all sang the song that ‘a school librarian “is a teacher whose subject is learning itself” ‘, if library schools taught us with that in mind and if schools employed us on that basis this would be an exciting educational environment to be part of.

I am still working/struggling to balance the admin task with this kind of developmental, higher level work. I long to work with a team of library staff, a team that can fulfill all the tasks of a school library from the mundane to the exploratory.
