Your “waffling” makes a great deal of sense.
With the half-term break finally upon us, your question is the prompt that I need to document our Year 9 Inquiry Skills Project, which also lays the foundation for their Individual Project (which I will also document) and sounds like it might go some way towards answering your question.
I will make this a priority.
In the meantime, a search for “individual project” in Resources will return the two parts of the inquiry journal that we produced to support the Individual Project (see image below) – this may give you some food for thought.
