Although the club took quite a bit of work to set up this year, we were really pleased by how engaged students were with the enterprise activity – and how competitive trading became. Having planned all the sessions this year, next year will be much easier, with just a few tweaks based on lessons learnt the first time through. Now that Y11 mocks are over, we are looking forward to analysing the results to see if the activity had a measurable impact on students’ understanding of all the concepts we were revising – although the size of the school means a statistically significant result would be difficult to achieve.
